People often ask why I bought the store. They want to know if it’s because I love paper. I do love paper. Pretty wrapping paper and the ribbons that go along with them. I also love journals and notepads. I like to make lists and plans and I really the very first page of a new journal dedicated to new inspirations.

I also share that I stayed home with my kids for six years and that, although I knew I would eventually go back to work, I was pretty sure I wouldn’t work for somebody else again. So, when the opportunity came up, my husband and I had many talks about the pros and cons. The risks and benefits. And then we decided to go for it. And I am so glad we did! I am glad I don’t have to look back and wish I would have tried. Even with all the ups and downs of owning a small business, I really couldn’t be happier.
