If there is one thing I love, it’s a party. Any party. Birthday, anniversary, new job, wedding, baby shower. I love going to parties and I LOVE throwing them. To be perfectly honest, I don’t even need a *real* reason. Saturday afternoon comes, I’ve put in six days and BAM. I’m ready for a party. Admittedly, my co-conspirators are pretty easy to please. Invite our friends and their kids, pick up some cupcakes and my kids are good to go. I also like Movie Night. A bunch of kids, one movie, popcorn and take out pizza and there you go. A Party.

I am definitely the kind of person to include some kind of decor, too. We’ve got some new decorations from Whee Works that work in perfectly for Movie Night. I love the idea of adding a little something more to the get together. It doesn’t have to be much. As I’ve mentioned, my invitees are pretty easy to please – the enthusiasm of a kid is unmatched.

With time and An Occasion, my lists and planning go up a notch. Banners, napkins, food toppers, confetti and pompoms are some of my go-tos when I really go all out. I like bringing in some colour and making it all matchy-matchy.
