I think I have mentioned before that I don’t care one bit that Valentine’s Day is a made-up Day of Romance. I happen to love cinnamon hearts and I will wear pink and red. Together!

I love having heart-shaped pancakes with my kids the morning of and sharing a glass of wine with Dave in the evening.

Anyway,  Valentine’s doesn’t have to be all romance-y. And the kids don’t have to take over, either! How about we talk a little local love for our favourite spots in the neighbourhood??

My neighbours and I have put together a gift basket filled with all kinds of goodies. The Cupcake Lounge, Pure Kitchen, Gezellig and Canopy to name a few. And this is just the beginning.

You can enter to win this gift basket by telling us what you love about our neighborhood.

The SJAM is top of mind for many of us right now but don’t let the snow get in the way of remembering a favourite park or spot along the Byron Path. How about Westboro Beach? Maybe it’s your early morning yoga class or your favourite table at a local restaurant. Where is your favourite spot for hot chocolate or ice cream?
