So…a little history about The Village Quire. Susan Burke opened the store 14 years ago. It was located where Fratelli’s is now. I actually remember her standing outside waiting for the sign to come and be installed.
It is amazing to me that I can remember that moment because, these days, I can hardly remember if I brushed my teeth. But I do remember that day.
Nine years later, I found myself waiting outside my own store at 312 Richmond Rd. Waiting for my own sign to come.
The past five years have seen more ups then downs but I love where I have ended up – and that is something to celebrate!
