I remember the day Dan came into the store. He was empty handed but told me he was selling handmade coasters that he and his wife were making in their spare time. I asked if he had anything with him and when he showed me what he had, I knew he was on to a good thing.
Two years later and owner Dan Fallak has quit his government job to go full tilt. With large accounts like the National Arts Centre, Dan has found himself scaling his operation. VersaTile’s biggest news to date is that he will be part of Chapter’s 2014 Father’s Day Collection. What an accomplishment! VersaTile’s story is inspiration for any entrepreneur who is on the edge of a great idea.
At The Village Quire, we LOVE the coasters showcasing vintage City of Ottawa maps. Customers love looking for the intersections close to their address. We’ve just placed an order to include the maps for Westboro and Wellington Village as well as owls, vintage bikes, style-savvy chevrons and more.
