So, here’s the thing. Our ten-almost-eleven year old is heading off to camp tomorrow.

Sleep away camp.

For the first time (!)

I am pretty excited for him. We started packing last night and have been checking and re-checking the list.

We both have butterflies but I know he wants to go and I think we are both more excited than not.  He will bunking with a few buddies and I think that helps. He is quick to tell me a big reason why he is good to try the camp is because his friends are going.

My fingers are crossed he has such a great time that he doesn’t want to come home. I’d love for him to have that connection to summer and sleep away camp. And I hear the experience does as lot for kids in terms of independence, leadership and confidence. Not that I want to ship my guy off all summer! I’d miss him way too much for that! And we just downloaded that new Pokemon Go game. There is so much to do this summer! 😉

I know many of you are in the same boat. Parents, Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles have all been in looking for Camp Stationary and maybe a little something extra to stick in the mail.

We love the designs put together by Jonesy. Easy, peasy fill-it-out-and-check-the-boxes, kind of easy.

As for that “little something extra”…we still have a terrific selection of Tattly Tattoos.
