Hello!
Valentine’s Day is almost up on us. I have mentioned before that I don’t care one bit that this may or may not be a made up holiday. I have always loved Valentine’s Day.
In high school, I sent candy grams, hoping to be noticed by some cute boy. In my twenties, going to dinner with girlfriends to celebrate Single Awareness Day. My husband and I used to go for dinner…that was before kids.
Now we celebrate with heart-shaped pancakes, Valentines for the kids and each other and chocolates all around.
This year we made Valentine MailBoxes. It has been a lot of fun – each day we write something we like about each other, a poem or even just toss a candy in and put up the flag.
You’ve Got Love Mail!
A bit corny? Maybe. But even my ten year old son is loving it!
