Valentine’s Day is coming up!

There are some humbuggers out there who will say Valentine’s Day is a made up holiday. That might be true, but I don’t care one bit. I love all things pink and red. I love hearts and chocolate. I love opening little boxes that have little treasures inside. I really, really love flowers. And lovey dovey cards from my, not one, but three true loves.

When you are married, with two kids under the age of ten, the romantic Valentine Dinner Date takes a back seat to heart-shaped pancakes for breakfast, a candlelit dinner set for four and a menu that likely includes spaghetti because the sauce is red. Shirley Temples with maraschino cherries all around.

Still, it is nice to pick up a little something up for your special someone. This year, a few of us in Westboro are making it easy.  Wall Space Gallery, Truffle Treasures, Flowers Talk Tivoli and The Village Quire have partnered up to create a one-stop shopping event. Between Feb. 6 and Feb. 14,  shop at participating stores. Collect a stamp with purchase during these days and then cash in those savings from Feb 15-Mar 15.
