The holidays seem like a million years ago already. It hasn’t even been a month – where does the time go?
Did you travel or stick close to home? We travelled eight hours on Christmas Eve and landed at my Mom’s place around midnight. With Santa on route, the kids were a cinch to put to bed. And we slept in a cozy basement. Never have I been happier to have a room so dark! They slept until nearly 8am!! Crazy.
We had such a great time. My brother hosted Christmas Dinner, my Dad had us all to his place on Boxing Day and my cousins had us to their place on the 27th. I am writing quick thank you notes. I mentioned back in the fall about wanting to write more often. Maybe it’s just me, but I think many of us are accustomed to only 140 characters or Facebook status updates.
With this in mind, I don’t want to shoot too high and run the risk of failure 😉
I’ve got pretty postcards from Rifle Paper Co. and I have the prettiest Thank You Notes from PaperSource Small, but still cute, and perfect for jotting down a few words.
I’ll be popping them in the mail tonight.
