Easter Weekend is upon us. I love Easter – if you follow along here, you might know that I *love* all the holidays…all the occasions marked by setting a table with pretty napkins and candles and dishes heaped with food that mark the 0ccasion.

Easter is high up on my list of favourite holidays.

Hot Cross Buns are essential for me – as kids, we would toast them and spread butter and honey. Delicious. I grabbed a Hot Cross Bun from The Piggy Market this morning. Not too sweet and perfect with my mid-morning coffee.

Have you been to The Piggy Market?? It is a destination for many of us in Westboro and beyond. If you know me, then you know I am not a huge meat eater but I love a bit of Prime Rib from time to time (Yorkshire Pudding….helllooo??) and sausage on the barbeque is summertime perfection in our house.

Dave is the owner over at there – he will be working 22 hours today – putting together all your pre-orders for this weekend. I don’t know if it is too late or not for you to place an order for your Easter meal, but you can always give him a call! It is busy, busy over there today … I hope they will all be able to enjoy a well deserved day off to sit around their own tables and enjoy something delicious.
