Hello!
I recently had a conversation with Charmaine of Yellow Bird Paper Greetings. You all know how I feel about shopping local but Charmaine proudly wears her passion for shopping Canadian and it has reinvigorated me with a purpose to stock my shelves with more Canadian-made goods.
I have a pretty good selection of Canadian-made greeting cards. Flaunt Handmade Correspondence, Alice Hinther, Clayboys , Caracarmina, The Lonely Pixel, Jonsey and Karen Graham Designs have become go-tos for me and my customers.
I also look for homegrown giftables and trinkets. Emily Wilfong of Wildtree creates gorgeous jewelry trees. Fidoodle is new to the mix. And Funk Your Junk is a staple offering.
But you know what? I want to do better! And I need you to help me.
I want more Canadian-made wrapping paper. Does this exist?? I am waiting on an order from Yellow Bird but choice is what sets this store apart. I am looking for gorgeous Canadian-made wrapping paper. And gift bags!
I am willing to chase down leads and turn over every stone.
